The Asian Health Coalition has published findings in the Journal of Race and Social Problems (Vol 5, Dec 2013) on socio-demographic factors and cancer screening among foreign-born immigrant women from data collected through the Chicago Asian Community Survey (CACS) project, a comprehensive local health needs assessment, to assess determinants of morbidity and mortality, and health care access patterns of three Asian immigrant enclaves in Chicago: Chinese, Cambodian and Vietnamese.
