On Monday, May 26th, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (Task Force) published its final recommendation statement on screening for hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in individuals at high risk. This recommendation includes adults and adolescents who are not pregnant and who have not been vaccinated, as well as other individuals at high risk for infection. [Read more…]
The Chicago Dept of Public Health reports that new CDC data shows that smoking among CPS high school students is down. According to Youth Risk Behavioral Surveillance (YRBS) data, in 2013, 10.7% of high school students smoked a cigarette within the last 30 days. [Read more…]
