· An address by James Heckman of the University of Chicago, and winner of the 2000 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, on ?Developmental Origins of Health?
· Presentations by David Cutler of Harvard University and Mark Pauly of the University of Pennsylvania on current health care reform and policy followed by panel discussion.
· Presentations of new research by:
o Laurence Baker, Stanford University
o Ken Chay, Brown University
o Leemore Dafny, Northwestern University
o James Hilliard, University of Georgia
o David Howard, Emory University
o Karen Norberg, Washington University in St. Louis

o Evaluations of new incentive based policies to improve individual health behavior
