Government Funded Services

Crisis Intervention/Emergency Services

• DMH funds  immediate and intensive intervention services to stabilize children, adolescents, and adults during a mental health crisis which cannot be addressed by customary community mental health services. Please click here to view DMH's List of Providers of Crisis Psychiatric Services.

Cost of Mental Health Treatment

The cost of mental health treatment at for several government funded sites is based on the individual's or family's available income and medical resources (which includes Medicaid and Medicare).  Most service providers apply a sliding fee scale based on the individual's or family's income to the costs of mental health treatment.
