HEPP Suburban Expansion

In November 2008, the AHC was awarded a five-year grant to expand the Chicago based Hepatitis Education and Prevention & Immunization Program (HEPP) to reach the APIA communities in suburban Cook County as well as the DuPage and Kane counties. The AHC will work in collaboration with various APIA community- based organizations and the Illinois and Cook County Departments of Public Health.

The expansion program is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
