Recap on Substance Abuse Intervention Initiative Training and Kick-Off Meeting

The primary goal of AASAII is to increase access to culturally and linguistically appropriate screening and treatment services for substance abuse among the Asian American communities in Chicago. 

A coalition of more than 14 community-based and social service agencies is working together to provide screening services, referrals, and substance abuse treatment to various Asian American ethnic communities in Chicago.  Participating organizations include Chinese American Service League, Hamdard Center, Korean American Community Services, Hanul Family Services, Cambodian Association of IL, Chinese Mutual Aid Association, Henry Booth House, Asian Human Services, Filipino American Community Health Initiative, Lao American Community Services, Japanese American Service Committee, Vietnamese Association of IL, Apna Ghar, Inc, and Community Counseling Centers of Chicago.
