Screening for Mental Health
Resources for Mental Health Screening
The AHC has been working with partner agencies to pilot a mental health screening process, using a validated screening tool. Preliminary feedback on this process will be presented soon.
We encourage interested screeners to explore various options and pick the tool(s) that feel the most relevant and helpful for addressing the concerns of your client population. Listed below is a great resource for exploring alternative screening tools and surveys.

This website, championed by Dr. Marianne Yoshioka of Columbia University has a comprehensive list of screening tools used in both adult and child & adolescent populations. The website lists which Asian populations these tools have been effectively implemented in as well as the purpose of each tool.
