Sydney Battle, MPH | Program Manager
Sydney Battle was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. She attended Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication specializing in Public Relations, as well as her Master of Public Health specializing in Community Health Education.
In her professional career, she obtained her certification to become a Health Education Specialist (CHES) and was trained through the Stanford University Curriculum on their Live Well Be Well Program to help educate individuals on how to take control and holistically manage their chronic conditions. She also trained and served as a Maternal Child Health Community Health Worker and was recognized as Cradle Cincinnati's Champion for Health Equity for 2018.
She chose public health because of the opportunity to help people on a variety of different topics in regards to their health.
As a Program Manager, she manages Chronic and Infectious Disease prevention programs.
