Jeare agas, Ba | financial specialist
Jeare Agas serves as a Financial Specialist at the Asian Health Coalition, where they help advance the organization’s mission to improve the health and well-being of underserved Asian, African, and other immigrant communities across the nation.
Originally from Manila, Philippines, and a proud first-generation college graduate, Jeare brings an international perspective and a passion for strengthening community systems through sound financial stewardship. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Business with a minor in Supply Chain Management from the University of California, San Diego, where they graduated with Provost Honors.
Before joining the Asian Health Coalition, Jeare supported complex contract and compliance projects at MD7, managing large telecommunications portfolios and ensuring financial accuracy for thousands of sites nationwide. They also have experience developing community educational materials and digital health tools through roles with Say San Diego and Workplace Technologies Research Inc., where they combined research and creative problem solving to support public health initiatives.
At the Asian Health Coalition, Jeare manages budgeting, reconciliations, grant reporting, and day-to-day financial operations to ensure that the programs and partnerships run smoothly and transparently. Their dedication helps sustain impactful services that promote health equity for immigrant and refugee communities.
When not working, Jeare enjoys travelling to new cities, seeking out the best local food spots, and participating in local climbing competitions – blending adventure, community, and a health dose of friendly competition.
